What are fillers?
Fillers are a treatment that enhances your facial features, plump, fill lines and sunken areas. Fillers involve injecting a solution under the skin with a special needle to subtly smooth, soften, and tone the skin and restore a youthful plumpness to define your facial features. Fillers can be used to treat a range of skin concerns like deep wrinkles and lack of volume. Popular areas we treat include the lips, nose and cheeks. Some other areas we treat include the mouth, jawline, chin, and forehead. We offer a range of filler types and brands, and we will discuss all options and pricing with you at your consultation prior to any treatment being carried out.
What's a fat dissolver?
A fat dissolving solution made of sodium deoxycholate is injected under the skin into the fat layer. The solution will dissolve the fat cells which are then absorbed by the body. The fat dissolver can be injected into the inner thigh, inner knee, abdomen, arms, double chin and back. The treatment can be painful following the procedure, but it doesn’t limit your normal life or social and physical activities. Improvements can be seen several weeks after the treatment and bruising is a common occurrence.
What's a noninvasive lipo?
A noninvasive lipo is a similar procedure. It uses new and safe technology to perform the traditional liposuction. A beam of light is put above the skin surface to stimulate the fat cell, and results are seen without invasively entering the body surgically. This treatment is not suitable for those on blood thinners, with an impaired immune system, lipid disorders, pregnant/breastfeeding, uncontrolled diabetes, severe kidney or liver disease, or under 18 years old.
After taking this treatment you should avoid direct sunlight to treat bruises, avoid anti-inflammatories, avoid applying cosmetics to the treated area, avoid extreme hot or cold areas, and gently massage the area to encourage fat drainage.
